24 Hours In: True Love Has No Timeline

When it comes to capturing love, there are moments that simply melt your heart, and this lovestruck session was undoubtedly one of them. Set in the outskirts of the charming city of Greenville, South Carolina, this shoot was full of uncontrollable laughter, joy, and that sweet honeymoon stage, give you the butterflies type of energy. It was the kind of session that left everyone, including myself, feeling giddy and in love with love.

What makes this shoot so special is the incredible story behind the couple. The session was actually a part of a styled shoot, but when the original model unexpectedly fell ill and couldn’t make the shoot, a fellow photographer scrambled to find someone new within just TWO hours from the scheduled time. That’s when she reached out to this lovely couple — who had been officially dating for only 24 hours!

Yes, you read that right. Just 24 hours! Despite being fresh into their relationship, you would never have guessed it. The way they looked at each other, the way they smiled, the way they interacted — it was as if they had been together for years. They were like two peas in a pod, so in sync, and so completely at ease with each other. It was one of those moments where you could just feel the genuine connection between two people. The butterflies, the giggles, the excitement— it was all there, and I couldn’t have asked for a better pair to model for this shoot.

Their session took place at a beautifully curated, picturesque AirBNB in Upstate South Carolina, which set the perfect backdrop for their love story. From playful moments in front of the camera to quiet, tender exchanges, every shot captured the raw emotion of two people in the early stages of something beautiful. It was like witnessing the beginning of a romance that was destined for greatness.

As we wrapped up our photography session, the rain started to come down. We asked the couple how they would feel about some final pictures in the rain. Most couples would have rushed to the car, but not this pair. Without a second thought, they stepped into the road and began to dance, effortlessly and in perfect harmony, as if they had been doing it for years. It felt like something straight out of a movie scene.

What I loved most about this session was how real it felt. Sure, the couple was still getting to know each other in a more official sense, but the energy they shared felt anything but new. You could tell they were genuinely having fun, which to me, is the essence of capturing true love— pure candid joy. This couple’s session was a reminder that love isn’t always about how long you’ve been together— it’s about how you make each other feel in the moments you spend together.

I’m so grateful to have been a part of their story, even if just for a day, and I can’t wait to see where their love takes them in the future!
